GeStalt Language ProceSSing
Does your child use echolalia or scripting to communicate? We can help them on their language journey! We will follow your child’s lead, provide natural language models, do the detective work needed to understand the meaning of their gestalts, and keep sensory needs in mind. Our goal is to help them achieve self-generated language and have a voice in this world.
MyofunctIonal Therapy (ageS 4+)
Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT) focuses on improving the way your child’s face and mouth muscles work, allowing their dental, speech, and facial development to flourish. Our goal is to eliminate oral habits like thumb sucking, promote nasal breathing, improve tongue, lip, and jaw postures, and help each oral structure do its job.
Speech Therapy
Is your child struggling with their speech sounds? We will help them speak clearly, share their thoughts and ideas, interact with peers, and confidently advocate for themselves. Your child's interests will be woven in to each session to make practice fun. We will also provide you with home activities that will fit into your busy schedule and speed up your child’s progress!
Language Therapy
Are you concerned about your child’s ability to understand what they hear or express themselves in words? Our language therapy sessions use your child’s strengths, preferences, and interests to create engaging learning opportunities. Our goal is to help your child develop new expressive and receptive language skills so that they can successfully interact with the world around them.

Janae Guevara, MA, CCC-SLP
Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist
Hello, I’m Janae— a pediatric speech therapist in Orange County, CA. I specialize in supporting children on their unique communication journeys, from birth to age 18!
I founded Tulips Speech & Language Services to connect with families in every step and stage of their therapy journey. My goal is to form a genuine connection with your child and help them gain confidence as they progress toward their communication goals.
I take a flexible, family-centered, and “whole child” approach to therapy. I always look at the big picture to make sure that what we do in speech therapy is improving every aspect of your child’s life. Their physical, emotional, and social well-being matter just as much to me as their communication development.
In order to provide the most effective therapy services to each child, I have taken advanced courses in Natural Language Acquisition (NLA), Gestalt Language Processing, and Orofacial Myology. I am also a licensed SPEAK OUT! provider. I am committed to staying up-to-date with the latest insights and approaches in my field!
